The Water Resilience Solutions Hub (WRSH) connects water utilities in Kenya and Uganda with WASH enterprises to co-design, pilot and scale climate resilience solutions.

We support both sides, from shared problem diagnosis and climate risk assessment, through matchmaking and co-designed pilots with catalytic finance, to long-term public-private collaboration.

About

About the WRSH

Water supply systems across East Africa are becoming increasingly fragile under climate stress. Floods, droughts, landslides and declining source water quality undermine reliable service and raise operating costs.

Proven solutions already exist, offered by WASH enterprises in the region. Yet utilities struggle to identify, assess and adopt them. The WRSH is the structured bridge between utility need and enterprise innovation, with cewas, OPERO Services and seecon impact acting as neutral brokers.

Are you a WASH enterprise with a proven solution for water utilities? Four Kenyan utilities, Gatundu (GATWASCO), Limuru (LWSC), Kisii (KWASCO) and Kericho (KEWASCO), are looking for enterprises to take on an ongoing operational role in tackling their priority climate challenges.

Selected enterprises gain direct access to utility decision-makers and a co-designed and funded pilot.
